Thank you for your support! Until the next election, please stay tuned!
For Marty, family and community is everything. As your City Councilor, his focus will be on making the quality of life better for our neighbors, and for our children, asking the hard questions and tackling the seemingly impossible problems that keep us all up at night. If you would like to volunteer, or have an issue you would like to talk to Marty about, email him at MartyKeogh2019@gmail.com
When you browse Marty's site, you will see just a few of the ideas that he is proposing for the city's residents. But these ideas are not original, or even new. The credit for these ideas belongs to the people Marty meets and listens to everyday. Whether it is increasing training programs and job opportunities, or giving neighborhoods more say in development, increasing public safety, dealing with traffic congestion, or providing children with more summer programs, Marty wants to be your voice and bring common sense solutions to City Hall.
Marty is no stranger to city government, having worked at the Boston City Council and the Boston School Committee from 1991 until 2001, before he became a public defender. Marty has worked with the council staff, the courts and residents to address issues and concerns ranging from school assignments and public safety issues to fixing street lights and other basic city services. Marty will be able to work with the Council more effectively because he will hit the ground running!
